Visit Chai Rang Floating Market
There are two floating markets in Can Tho which are the Cái Răng floating market and the Phong Điền floating market. The Chai Rang floating market is the main market that is located about 6 km from Can Tho city.
It is a market where sellers use boats to sell their products mainly locally grown food such as fruits and rice. There are about 40 boats and the market goes from 7 am to 10 am. You will find many things to buy from fish, meat, fruit and so on.
You also can buy food and drink such as fruit juice, and fried noodles.
Enjoy The Truc Lam Temple
The Truc Lam Temple is also known as Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery. It is a beautiful temple with red tiles and a curved roof on spacious large grounds. There’s the main hall and the grounds are filled with Buddha statues bodhi trees and pagodas.
The grounds are quiet, making it a great place to relax and meditate. So, if you want to find a peaceful place, then this is the place for you.
Visit Binh Thuy Communal House
Visiting Bin Thuy’s ancient house is highly recommended. It is about 30 30-minute ride from the Can Tho city center. Built in 1870, this French-style house is situated on 6.000 sq. meters.
It is a beautiful house with French-style and old furniture to see. It’s well worth having a look around. Good place for taking photos. And it costs around 20,000 Dong to enter the house.

Another place to visit in Can tho is the Ba Bo flower garden. It is located in Binh Thuy district Ba Bo flower garden. In the garden, around 250 families are living and growing many different flowers such as roses, marigolds, and sunflowers.
Flower lovers would appreciate visiting the Ba Bo flower garden.
Visit Ong Temple
The Ong Temple is also known as Den Ong. Located not far from Can Tho River, the Chinese Temple is located inside Guanzo Assembly Hall. The Ong Temple is designated to worship Kuang Kung which symbolizes courage, intelligence, justice, and honor.
There are red-colored ribbons, hanging from the ceiling, with Chinese writing on them. There were several large conical-shaped incense burners hanging from the ceiling.
Inside the cones, written messages are attached as the cones burn so do the messages and they travel up to the Gods.
Explore Bang Lang Stork Garden
Bang Lang Stork Garden is the largest bird sanctuary on the Mekong River. Located in Thoi Binh, Hamlet at Thoi Thuan Commune in Thot Not District. Bang Lang Stork Garden is a house with more than 20 kinds of stork.
You see hundreds of nesting storks and their chicks in the vast sanctuary. It is well worth the visit.
